beyond our ken
So it was contractual rather than a gentleman's agreement? If not then it's an utterly ridiculous way to run the football club. verbal agreements often represent contractually binding arrangements we would have had to go back on our word to knock back the aberdeen offer
Liverpool Bud
Can we not just ask Tommy for the list of paper he was waving around at the AGM ? It's bound to have some quality signing targets on it ?
Alba
Still not seen us linked with a single defender which is disappointing. Then again we are on a one game run of clean sheets. Quite keen to see the lad from Spurs have a run at some of the shitey fullbacks in the league. Also doing a bit of reading on the boy from West Ham we're looking at, reckon that would be a good signing too. And we've got Stevie Mallan for a few more years (presuambly with a significant buy-out clause!). Not all bad. This has been lost in amongst all the seethe. The boy can run. Like, really run. Isma really wasn't that quick, and look at the bother he caused. Just hope Snoopy has some end product to back it up. Frank McGarvey' wonky legs
Dayton and Snoopy both seem to play wide right so someone could be forced out of position. Saying that Dayton looked as if he was blowing out his arse after half time on Friday

FTOF
In today's PDE, Teale states, "I'm hopeful that, before the Inverness match,we might have another new face in the squad". He then goes on to say, " I will have a couple of boys in to have a look at them at the start of next week and if I feel that they are better than what we already have in, then I'd hope to bring them in. Make your mind up Gary. Or are they identical twins?

Could it not just mean he has one he's earmarked for bringing in and possibly a couple he's still to look at which, if good enough, he'd hope to add. Maybe as many as three then. However, I wouldn't have been able to use my mildly amusing reference to identical twins.

FTOF
Maybe it's these chaps. FFS. I'd forgotten that these two existed. Both playing for Śląsk Wrocław now with Marco being the captain.
Magic Monkey
I see Ross County have brought in a new striker while we slide about on our arse.We are now into the fourth week since Craig left.We simply must get the managerial situation sorted NOW or risk becoming totally isolated. We need about five new players to have any chance. How's County's new striker working out? Maybe they'd have been better off sliding about on their arse like we did.

kevo_smfc
I cant understand bringing Lamont back in. Since leaving us a couple of years ago, hes been at Dumbarton, Albion Rovers and Petershill, so his career has went backwards. At 22/23 years old surely there is better out there. No offence to the lad.
