TopCat
Celtic keeper could of then. Hearts, rangers,Aberdeen and Livy keepers could of done the same we would of still lost them games. Keep trying to spin it you might achieve your goal at some point. Indeed that could have happened in any game so far apart from the Celtic game and we would have less than 3 points: it wouldn’t have happened in the Celtic game either cause we had 11 players in our own half for the majority of the game. There seems to be a determination to denigrate the Dundee win and the winning goal as much as possible among some of our fans. Make them feel better about the disgraceful treatment of Stubbs perhaps. The winner against Dundee wasn’t a fluke, it came about from an organised press. Ryan Flynn was high up the pitch (higher than he’s been since) and forced the error with a good tackle. His composure and cut back found another forward runner and we won the game. In that match we had organisation and intensity and it worked. We won. We had neither of those things tonight. faraway saint
The "love in" for the new manager, mainly coming from the dislike of the previous manager, looks like is wearing thin. You have to laugh at the "we have to have stability" posts when we binned the previous manager after little time. You have to laugh at the "performances are getting better" posts as we have one one point from 7 games, against a team that were at a real low. We are in DEEP shit, disorganised, no fight, nothing in any department, even the goalie was poor tonight. We will get pumped by Rangers on Saturday, then we face Dundee. What a game that will be. More and more I get the impression St Mirren Football Club is not for you. We are in a deep hole let's hope Oran can work out how to get out of it. LOVENEST
Is'Top Cat' reminding folk of the disgraceful treatment of Stubbs - due to ignorance of the game in most part. And the really loud objectors don't like it. Live far away now but watching the game on TV right now. Looks cold. The honeymoon period is different for different managers for reasons unknown but it appears that those who wanted Stubbs out are getting their noses rubbed right in it.....the board should take a long look at themselves as well - listening to bleating player revolts - because they are not worthy - and Stubbs knew it. He got the sack - they players got a stay of execution - and the board got what they deserve. Football takes time.....sign off at 30 minutes still 0-0. Just sorry for the good fans - they deserve better. Expat rant over.
