oaksoft
There is of course no guarantee that this mess will be cleared up quickly. This could go on for some time. The only facts we know for certain are that Oran didn't turn up today and that neither the club nor Oran are making any statements.

bud84
If the board genuinely believe OK is trying to work his ticket so he can take a pay off and go back and manage Coleraine without them having to pay St M a fee why don't they just place him on gardening leave for the time being and force Coleraine hand into either approaching the club for permission to speak to him or for them to appoint another manager. Suppose things change fast. Around a week ago (circa) Coleraine asked Dundalk permission to interview their Manager for the Coleraine Manager job. buddygreat
Gordon Scott in America. Fitzpatrick abroad and no manager at first days training. Should all 3 not be here and round a table sorting this mess out? We're going to end up with Gus aren't we, cause we can't be fannying about with players to try bring in? God help us if we ever end up playing against 9 men if Gus takes over (please no)..We really are a bit of a laughing stock if we can't keep a P E teacher as manager who wants to manage a mid table amateur team..aye Tony. Top 4 we are right enough [emoji6][emoji849]

The assumption about not being able to keep a PE teacher is glazing over a lot of the media info as well tbh.

Well, if the clubs welfare is paramount to the major shareholder and owner, I would've thought he'd have been here handling it..this drama has been going on from about our last half dozen games and it's coming to a head this evening when a statement is being released. I just don't see why this short commute seems central to the fallout. Maybe more to it. I hope there is because a short flight to ballymoney is hardly grounds to unsteady the ship once again when stability has been a problem for Saints. I wasn't a big fan of OK, but he got us over the line and thought he deserved a full season anyway
DLBud
Can you dispute either point? why would a chairman invite the media in to tell them about his managers home and family life, unless he had a pre conceived reason to do so..? I mean why even bring it up? it is a fact Oran commutes, its a fact borne out by the chairman own remarks there is nothing in his contract that compels him to move, its a fact borne out again by the chairman's comments and a plethora of media reports the chairman wanted to change the custom and practice he had allowed to be established, and compel Oran to move, whilst questioning his commitment. i get that you find it hard to accept facts when i put them forward, silly as that is. But you are insulting your own intelligence suggesting these things are not true. It demeans you man. What a load of pish. I’d rather you’d just admitted you made stuff up than had me read all of that shite to effectively say the same thing. You made stuff up and have absolutely no proof that what you think has happened is actually true. Your interpretation of events is your opinion, nothing more. Also, when you make shite up the benchmark for said shite isn’t that someone else doesn’t want to add to your conjecture by speculating themselves.Oh, and by the way, continuing to throw about employment law jargon doesn’t make you a specialist.🤣
