This is a hugely significant game in terms of our top-six chances, a proper six-pointer.

The table speaks for itself:

Hearts are basically a shoe-in to finish third, now; they're on fire. Fourth place will be contested by any of the teams from 4th to 8th, IMHO.

- Killie host Livingston on Tuesday, so we have to anticipate they will take all three points from that.

- Dundee can catch us with their games in hand, as things stand. Of course, we're in a better position having the points in the bag, though.

- Hibs can go within 3 points of us, if they win their game in hand. However, after today's performance and the terrible run they're on that doesn't look likely unless their new players gel very quickly. They're also home to Celtic on Wednesday! :D

- Aberdeen can get within a point of us, if they win their games in hand. They're away to Rangers on Tuesday, so I do not fancy their chances there.

A win is important as it will keep us in touch with Killie, who will likely be on 36 points Come 10 pm on Wednesday.

Beating Dundee will mean that we'll put daylight between us even if they were to win their games in hand.

With Aberdeen and Hibs playing the Old Firm this is a real opportunity for us. I cannot state that enough.

I wouldn't bet on it.. as much as Livingston are bottom they're not a easy nut to crack, they have plenty to play for, they're more than capable of getting something out that game.

Dundee are playing really well and they beat us 4-0 last time they also played really well against us at Greenhill Road, they'll fancy their chances of getting a big result, so we'll need to be at our very best in this game if we want those 3 points,

If Carlsberg do Wednesday's and I'll be having a few before the game it'll be 2-1  Saints and 4th place

Agree that this won’t be an easy game. Also agree that it is “one of those” games which are particularly significant. Hoping for a win!

Watched Dundee's highlights v Hearts they play at such a high tempo more than any other team in league imo and seem to make plenty of chances in every match.

I can't see them not scoring Wednesday so hopefully we have our shooting boots on to score at least two which we will probably need to win.

They do play a pressing game and seem to know where the goals are , however their defence can be shambolic at times . It’s up to us to keep the pressure on.
I’m sure there will be goals but game could be decided by which team wins the midfield battle.  This won’t be easy but I’m hopeful of a narrow win.

We will need to counter the tactic they used at set plays near the box on the last outing at Dundee, where they literally fenced Hemming in with the tall players, at one point he had to run around them to get near the ball and ended up trying to get in front of them at the 6 yard line (is that 5.8m now?).  Hopefully we will command our area this time

I see ppv is available for this game. Excellent for fans like me, who can't get to Paisley midweek.

Good to know, I am working in Hillington now and envisaged staying behind to watch in person but I'll be in meetings in Edinburgh until 5 so the PPV works perfectly

It's going to be a cold one tomorrow night, so wrap up warm, Buddies!

Hopefully we will have a lot of cheering to do to warm us up!

In Dundee we opened up and went at them and they picked holes in us and ran out worthy winners.

Robbo has acknowledged that and has , I hope, planned accordingly.

Dundee have two very useful players in Beck and McCowan

Down side? I won't be there. Upside? I won't be cold. Hope we continue on an upward trajectory with another good show. Dundee will be a tough nut to crack but, if we get our act together in front of goal, I think we are very capable of victory.
