Slarti Posted September 21, 2023 Report Posted September 21, 2023 Was it the Anchor that shut due to neighbours complaining about the noise?Yep. Folk moved in across the road from a pub that had live music and karaoke - then complained about the noise.Allegedly the brewery stepped in and told them that they could no longer have live music or karaoke and they were told to shove their lease. That is quite a distance between the two buildings for the noise to be a nuisance issue, fairly weak from the brewery. Was it Whibread? (I know they stopped being a brewery some years ago) Quote

AFAIK Kwang Tung has reopened or is reopening as a sit-in. Quote

Last time I was in the Paisley one it was still a chippy and I was on lunch break from West Primary. 😯😂😂😂 I've been to the new Phat Bhuna in Cambuslang twice now and really enjoyed it both times.
