pozbaird
It's easier to sign crap players like MacDonald or Caldwell than it is to sign decent players though. I find it difficult to slag Morton for signing MacDonald and Caldwell, or to term Morton's signings as being crap when A: We signed one of them ourselves, and B: We signed or brought in Ball, Marwood, Drury, Caprice, Bahoken, Camara, yadda, yadda, and yadda. We are in no position to criticise anyone, IMHO.
Luther G. Presley
We are doing the same as we always do, offloading players to free up wages to sign better replacements, and then we either sign no one or some panic buys at the end of the transfer window. The fans are being taken for mugs!

Stevie88
Has also signed for The Soapdodgers. 18 month deal plus coaching duties. He will run amok in league 1. He's s decent striker. Look forward to playing Morton next season in the championship. We're a f**king shambles.

billyg
I wouldn't want Peter McDonald in the long term , but comparing him to what we still have , I would take him in a minute ! That's how bad we have become !

ronaldo
Just throwing in a few CB names that it feel could do a job, offer to pay Rangers £1000 a week of Zaliukas wages and get him on loan. 2 free agents just now are Sean St Ledger, he's struggled the last 2 years but def has quality. Offer him a pay as you play deal and do the same with Joseph Yobo, he's 34 now but could offer great experience for a fair wage. Just 3 guys who will be desperate to play and we could offer a platform, plus they are miles better than the guff we have just now
JM1
No chance of any of them signing for Saints.
ronaldo
Aim a bit higher than the shite we seem to be served, if they say no then so be it, much rather try for a better quality than get shite from non league in England. It's time for tried and tested rather than just cheap and no very cheery
Spam_Valley
Zaliukas had been murder for Rangers when he played, hence the reason he can't get a strip infant of McCulloch, McGregor or Moshni. No thanks. He's finished.

buddiecat
So cheesy before Zaliukas? no feckin way, zaliukas can kick the ball up the park when he aims to - not straight up in the air when he doesn't mean to
Mid Calder Saint
Quite a few clubs looking to loan players.Hearts for example looking to loan the likes of Brad McKay Scott Robinson and Jason Holt.No doubt Hibs as well who seem to have a few guys not playing regular. There are also some gems who would fit the bill worth taking a chance on like Reilly at QOTS and Jacobs at Livingston. class of 76-77
If we are about to sign two strikers then I hope to God it's not young lads. We need experienced players, not more kids that will be brushed aside by more experienced SPL defenders.
