bigjerseybuddie
Could it be that the new owners already have their man? Also,If the above post about Goody is true then someone within the club has grown a pair at last. Sure he will always be a legend due to league cup win but he doesn't seem capable of keeping himself and subsequently the club away from controversy. Our great club deserves better than how we have been portayed recently. We can now show what we are made of with players fit to wear the jersey( we might have to wait until January but at least it won't be too late) exciting times all of a sudden. Yet another loop on the St Mirren roller coaster

beyond our ken
100K a year (ish) to manage a football team? Worst case scenario you get sacked and paid your wages up? With pleasure! I did lead Saints to the premier league title on champ manager once Cut that figure in half and think again 100k, your havin' a giraffe
JJ McG
More cost cutting ??? I wouldn't say that , been a liability and dragged the clubs name through mud too many times. Sounds like somebody at the club has grown a set of baws.
Kendo
Tommy being relieved of his duties proves what we already knew Oaksoft is MENTAL. Only yesterday he said that this couldn't happen. I hope young JJ behaves himself after doing in the Peroni
irvine_buddie
Cut that figure in half and think again 100k, your havin' a giraffe Regardless, the point stands. He's gone with a big payoff, we can hopefully rescue our season and he can go get a coaching job somewhere. Everyones a winner, don't see why anyone would pity him. pozbaird
What makes you think we're suddenly going to have a team of players worthy of wearing the jersey? We currently have one of ye worst squads in living memory and our board are not going to spend any money to correct that A squad containing Thompson, McGinn, Kello, McLean, Osbourne and Teale automatically excludes it from being anywhere near a 'worst squad in living memory'. Get a grip.

beyond our ken
Could Goody have been the source of the poison dripped into gilmour's ear re wee danny? if so, as a first move by Teale, it is a shrewd one. Goody sets the scene, danny gets pumped, TC fails (making any successor look good by comparison), Goody gets demoted and told he's surplus to requirements, meanwhile GT strolls through the wreckage into the big job. GT gets the chance due to Goody's initiative and promptly removes him as a threat, at the same time stamping his authority all over the place-reads like a jeffrey archer novel (if it were possible to read one) I like his style, no mates, no favours and no free rides. things are looking up
