faraway saint
Looks a bit like a McAusland/Steven McGarry cross breed. With a bit of Alan Russell thrown in. That must have been some party his mother was at that night....................................
Stu
I wonder if his agent leaked the story to the press so more clubs will come have a look at him tonight. It's a closed door game. I think it's at Ralston so Thommo will be armed with a training pole to ward off anyone trying to sneak a peek. Sorry, only going by this dated yesterday......http://www.heraldscotland.com/mobile/sport/football/st-mirren-close-in-on-danish-centre-half-ibenfeldt.131163873?utm_source=www.heraldscotland.com&utm_medium=RSS%2520Feed&utm_campaign=Scottish%2520Premier%2520League%2520News Probably some other enthusiastic web chap putting it online before he should have! Hopefully this guy impresses and is fit enough to get a deal. Would make a change to have the centre-half issue done and dusted weeks before our first competitive game. HSS
There was a closed door game a couple of seasons ago against Queens Park that the Fans were allowed entry.Might be the same tonight.

Javid
http://youtu.be/Z9FO859_Ros Think he gets sent off here He looks really really slow in that video. ...really slow.
TopCat
http://youtu.be/Z9FO859_Ros Think he gets sent off here Yeah pretty hopeless defending by him for the third goal. Had Cheesy did that for us he'd have been lynched.
buddies1877
Looked pretty decent tonight

Stu
http://youtu.be/Z9FO859_Ros Think he gets sent off here Doesn't track his man because he's asleep then lunges in and gets sent off. He'll fit in perfectly
billymehmet1
Wouldn't say he looked decent. Gave away a few free kicks with late tackles is very similar in style to per mertersaeker
billyg
With a bit of Alan Russell thrown in. The same bit that Alan threw into Christina Aguilera ?
Lanarkshire_Bud
With a name like Mads he is an absolute cert to be sent off in the first league game, just for headlines sake.
djchapsticks
Wouldn't say he looked decent. Gave away a few free kicks with late tackles is very similar in style to per mertersaeker So he's not decent then you compare him to a world cup winner. Have a word with yourself. Stu
Not yet been offered a contract according to Murray. Wants to see him in a few games first. Saturday should be a reasonable test for anyone trying to win a deal. If you can impress against Sctland's third best team and the Scottish Cup winners then you'll stand yourself in good stead. nedflanders123
A bounce game more about fitness and introducing new players and some on here have them not good enough. God help us when the real deal begins next month.
Lord Pityme
If he is a 6ft 6inches, central defender, who has played at a higher level, and is decent? Two possible outcomes spring to mind. 1. We are working tirelessly on his fitness so Carlisle can add him to their squad. 2. He is very similar to Lee McCulloch, apart from getting away with a red card in every game! buddies1877
So he's not decent then you compare him to a world cup winner. Have a word with yourself. similar style was the words used. Not think he's as good as
Magic Monkey
Saying someone is similar in style is a comparison.
buddies1877
Saying someone is similar in style is a comparison. Simon lappin had a similar style of play to beckham crossing without needing to beat anyone doesn't mean he's as good
nosferatu
A bounce game more about fitness and introducing new players and some on here have them not good enough. God help us when the real deal begins next month. I'm pretty certain that the manager will be assessing the suitability of trialists in any bounce games they play! djchapsticks
similar style was the words used. Not think he's as good as Where did I mention he thought he was as good as? He said he wasn't impressive then in the very next sentence called his style similar to a guy who has won the world cup.
