Can't think why that's coming to mind while reading this thread. some of the press have it in for us after we stood shoulder to shoulder with Ross County a few years ago the past 2 pre-seasons they have ran with the same story of the young player getting paid 10p and hour or something like that and now they are trying to unsettle the feel good factor at the club iggy and move on I'd wager the majority of the press couldn't give a flying f**k about St Mirren one way or the other - the only exceptions being the journalists who are themselves Saints fans. He seems to think the deal is legit and the reason they want to buy a British club is to allow them get their money in and out of the country easier (no idea how owning a club helps this?). He says saints are their first option due to the proximity to airport and the deal to build the sports complex in Feegie but they are also interested in Morecambe. Apparently there are some big names involved including Jorge Mendez and a former agent of Neymar. I have no idea if any of this is true could all be BS but it definitely seems like a legit bid.
