faraway saint
Hope the next mug hasn't any association with Rangers.

div
There you go, swift decisive action from the board. Can't argue with it. Imperative now that we take our time and get the next appointment spot on.
linwood buddie
Had to be done , like Div's said swift action , an improvement on the old BOD that way .
insaintee
Wow bit surprised but not disappointed. Forget all this rubbish about him being a rangers man. What was clear was that in spite of being a paid employee he wasn't a St Mirren man. There was certainly no great improvement when he took over from Murray and performances this season have been dire. Thought he might have got through to Nov but there you go. I suspect there was a wee meeting with the board and he mouthed off. Good bye you are the weakest link

Drew
Ooft! I genuinely didn't see that one coming. Fair enough though, can't argue with the decision.
BuddieinEK
Surprised but not disappointed. His dogmatic refusal to even consider his tactics being a contributory factor went a long way to his downfall. Not going to celebrate two men being made unemployed... But I do think the board has been decisive and is to be applauded for that.
STGBuddy
Never good to see anyone sacked as it means things aren't going well but I'm not surprised
insaintee
Came really out of nowhere. On the basis that 1. A draw should have given him an other week 2. We cannae really aford to sack him Wonder what swung it Edited September 18, 2016 by insaintee
Meiksyboy
I think the board have made the correct decision, good luck to Alex & David in their future employment, I for one couldn't see any signs of improvement under their time here
Thorizaar
The unfortunate thing is we are still stuck with the substandard players he signed and re-signed.
nedflanders123
I have no doubt something was said or happened to hasten this decision. From a football perspective many could see the failings on the pitch, tactics, gaps evident in key positions and body language and good players looking shit scared to do the basics for fear of the manager's wrath. What is interesting is that under AM the under 20's play from the back and on the deck and have produced some lovely football, yet big team are told to play long ball. That means any talented kid coming in has to contend with playing a completely different style. Maybe AM will bring his tactics used for the development league and have our main lads play accordingly?
Lanarkshire_Bud
This next appointment could be the most important in the clubs history. We MUST find the right man now. So the real question is who?
Kendo
He made a rip roaring Cnut of it by not signing quality in midfield. I also think that the players weren't playing for him. The next appointment is crucial. Edited September 18, 2016 by Kendo
