ged62 Posted August 4, 2018 Report Posted August 4, 2018 Nope.Looking forward to it,knowing we could get humped and concede plenty in first 6 games with the squad as it is.Reading between the lines is something you should consider I’ll let you know after the game [emoji12] Quote
Wendy Saintss Posted August 4, 2018 Report Posted August 4, 2018 I can see a struggle to score tomorrow and a 0-1 loss. I hope it’s wrong but the team lacks pace and we have no strikers . I genuinely hope I’m wrong You were wrong [emoji23] Quote

Most who have not been throwing pish at the manager realise this seasons going to be difficult and also realise we have a long way to go. It's not gloating, only pointing out how ludicrous some posts have been, while remembering it's a long road to safety. You have to laugh at Billy liking your post after the abuse he's aimed at you, couldnae make it up. PS The same people will be back as soon as we lose a few games, and we will, aiming the blame firmly with the manager, wait and see. Edited August 4, 2018 by faraway saint Quote
norrie82 Posted August 4, 2018 Report Posted August 4, 2018 Fantastic result. Sure we rode our luck at times but the team dug in and got the win. Mullen was excellent and if a target man style striker can be found I think Mullen and smith would relish playing off him. Good start now let’s hope the McGinn deal goes thro and we can get some players in Quote

munoz Posted August 7, 2018 Report Posted August 7, 2018 Was told last night that 4 are leaving and 3 coming in this week. Can't see that much happening tbh, but you never know. Quote

Can't see that much happening tbh, but you never know.If that is the case then you’d imagine even more activity to come as that would leave us even shorter than we are right now and Stubbs has already said we need more in. Drew Posted August 10, 2018 Report Posted August 10, 2018 With Stewart already away, Gary Mac reported to be keen to stay and fight for his place, and McShane now rumoured to be possibly heading north, that leaves Eckersley as the loose end here. It has all gone a bit quiet on that front. Quote
Lord Pityme Posted August 10, 2018 Report Posted August 10, 2018 Think we are going to here about a brace of Everton loanees shortly that might hasten the departure of the remnants of the gang of four? Quote

It's unlikely to be Fraser Hornby and HarryCharsley though. Hornby made his Everton first team debut and Charsley is out on loan to Bolton. Edited August 10, 2018 by Buddie Marvelous amatit Quote
