"Covid impacting bottom-line linked to previously agreed commitments" It's also mental how a team like New Rangers who have never once turned a profit in their history can pass FFP rules where we can't. Sorry but I'll believe this when I see it. Wouldn't trust a word coming from elvis. Quote

There's someone who posts as "ObikaTheGoat" (obviously not the real Jonathon Obika) that posted about the youth programme. Quote
Sonny Posted May 4, 2021 Report Posted May 4, 2021 What's recently changed? We were compliant to play Scotland U21 games. The Stadium was built to be compliant. Quote

Most of what has come out so far is speculation, hopefully we get the specifics before long. If I'm honest I don't buy either FFP or ground capacity as reasons but who knows. Ayrshire Saints Posted May 4, 2021 Report Posted May 4, 2021 That doesn't really clarify anything. Rules out Stadium capacity I suppose. I hope the Kibble and SMISA deals are within the scope of these UEFA licensing regs ??? Quote
Slarti Posted May 4, 2021 Report Posted May 4, 2021 I've heard it's because we don't have enough bigots. Quote

ford prefect Posted May 4, 2021 Report Posted May 4, 2021 Financial and governance issues? Maybe related to our historical account issues highlighted in Dec? Anyway we'll need to win the cup first anyway! Let's just worry about that first and let the board investigate this. Quote

Both the Arabs and the Blue bigots only got a Silver so good luck arguing that as a reason for rejection? The gold and silver awards are SFA licensing. The UEFA system is totally different. Basically we need an SFA license to play in the Scottish Cup etc, no bearing on the European scheme. Quote
BuddieinEK Posted May 4, 2021 Report Posted May 4, 2021 It's time the club made a statement Not if they are still negotiating or trying to rectify matters. No. Quote
Slarti Posted May 4, 2021 Report Posted May 4, 2021 What's the UEFA quotient when it comes to bigots ?I think it's got be be indirectly proportional to your profit. Quote
