buddie Posted August 12, 2013 Report Posted August 12, 2013 It still says online he's a free agent, I can't see anything saying he has a new club. Maybe he has though and in that case what other realistic striking options could we look at? Quote
Mr Zo Posted August 12, 2013 Report Posted August 12, 2013 The club are after another striker but keeping very quiet on it. Would be astounded if we don't sign a striker before end of the transfer window. Quote
windae cleaner Posted August 12, 2013 Report Posted August 12, 2013 The club are after another striker but keeping very quiet on it. Would be astounded if we don't sign a striker before end of the transfer window. I still think we need 2 forwards to come in Quote
djchapsticks Posted August 12, 2013 Report Posted August 12, 2013 Andy Barrowman Yeah. 5 attempts at top flight football, 5 abject failures to cut it at this level. Would be cracking signing. Quote
Mr Zo Posted August 12, 2013 Report Posted August 12, 2013 I still think we need 2 forwards to come in Agreed. Still can't get my head round how Killie are looking for numerous new faces and we are desperate just to see anyone come in. Quote
windae cleaner Posted August 12, 2013 Report Posted August 12, 2013 Agreed. Still can't get my head round how Killie are looking for numerous new faces and we are desperate just to see anyone come in. You're not the only one. We meant to be a top level Scottish Professional Football team and the season has already started At the moment we have 1 experienced forward at the whole club That cannot be right Quote
norrie82 Posted August 12, 2013 Report Posted August 12, 2013 Well it is right and seeing as there is a budget the manager clearly doesn't feel the urgent need we all do to supplement the striking options Quote
FTOF Posted August 12, 2013 Report Posted August 12, 2013 Wohlfarth has joined a lower league German side. It was in the paper the other day that he has retired from professional football and gone to University to study Industrial Engineering. However, you are correct he's signed with FV Ravensburg in the 5th tier of German football. Quote
JJ McG Posted August 12, 2013 Report Posted August 12, 2013 Well it is right and seeing as there is a budget the manager clearly doesn't feel the urgent need we all do to supplement the striking options Maybe we are struggling to bring anybody in as we are offering peanuts so nobody wants to sign, who knows, It doesn't look good back at the ranch though. Quote

insaintee Posted August 12, 2013 Report Posted August 12, 2013 We want 2 first pick strikers (Thommo Plus?) Kids will be back up. Quote

sm74 Posted August 12, 2013 Report Posted August 12, 2013 Some big name strikers in that list: Cole, Ebanks-Blake, Fuller, Taylor-Fletcher, Helguson all players with EPL experience. Not suggesting linking them to us but its interesting. Others in our bracket: Duffy, Loy and Nish Quote

Magic Monkey Posted August 13, 2013 Report Posted August 13, 2013 f**k me that's a terrible article. Talks about a 'large proportion' and 60% of clubs claiming they'll turn a profit. Also notes only 5 clubs took part. So that's three clubs in profit then. Hardly a representative sample, is it?! Quote
insaintee Posted August 13, 2013 Report Posted August 13, 2013 (edited) Do you think we're one of the three clubs expecting to make profit? Edited August 13, 2013 by insaintee Quote
linwood buddie Posted August 13, 2013 Report Posted August 13, 2013 Darryl Duffy still a free agent? He not been in the rumour mill before? He has signed for a team in the Indian Premier League . Quote
Liverpool Bud Posted August 13, 2013 Report Posted August 13, 2013 Thank Christ for that - surely we have more ambition than daryl fxxking Duffy - I'd rather have welsh songstress Duffy ! Quote
buddie Posted August 13, 2013 Report Posted August 13, 2013 Here's an interview with Lennon in the ET. Says he's in talks with a striker in the 'Thompson mould' and they're still waiting on Adam Campbell. http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/spfl/lennons-looking-to-boost-his-front-line-133175n.21856391?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter Quote
