Iggy Poop Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 Are we through the shopping list and onto the trialists already? It all seems very quiet. Quote
saint in exile Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 Would it be worth taking a punt on Gary twigg? He's scoring barrow loads at Shamrock rovers. Mind you, he does f*ck all else, but at least he scores goals. Quote

crudenbud Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 Guillaume Beuzelin just been released by Coventry, would be a touch of class in the middle of the park Quote
BLF Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 Gus is quoted in today's paper as saying we have a few boys in on trial, any idea who these might be? Quote
jimdickloyal Posted July 7, 2009 Author Report Posted July 7, 2009 Guillaume Beuzelin just been released by Coventry, would be a touch of class in the middle of the park He certianly would...good shout by all accounts Quote
smfc1877 Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 he would be a good signing and would be 'better than we already have' Quote
lovestreet Posted July 13, 2009 Report Posted July 13, 2009 Let's see if Gus can get these postions filled at the fourth time of asking. Quote
davros Posted July 14, 2009 Report Posted July 14, 2009 Bobo Balde? Pish and a journey man of the highest order. he doesn't play for the club or the shirt, just the money from what he did a celtic. We need someone who wants to prove himself like Cuthbert. We shouldn't look at that many old timers. Quote
The Kazakh Saint Posted July 14, 2009 Report Posted July 14, 2009 (edited) From a purely football point of view and please I am not looking for any BS or bigoted rants/replies to this what about Liam Miller? Still 28 and he was an excellent player before he got a little too big for his boots and went to Manchester. Edited July 14, 2009 by The Kazakh Saint Quote

Head is still too big wouldn't want him at the club... doubt his big head would fit through the tunnel! What a wank he is anyway! Quote
The_idea Posted July 14, 2009 Report Posted July 14, 2009 Do we really need another central midfielder? Quote
shull Posted July 14, 2009 Report Posted July 14, 2009 When it comes to wasters, Miller is up there with Ricky Gillies. Overpriced Fud can sod off. Quote
jimdickloyal Posted July 14, 2009 Author Report Posted July 14, 2009 Speculation thread me thinks! Quote
FTOF Posted July 15, 2009 Report Posted July 15, 2009 I see Neill Collins of Wolves (formerly of Dumbarton and Sunderland) has been put up for transfer. 6 foot 3 centre half. Might be worth inquiring about a season's length loan. Wolves bought him for £150K in 2007.Salary will probably be a major stumbling block though. Quote
jazza Posted July 16, 2009 Report Posted July 16, 2009 Former Rangers defender Marvin Andrews has told Raith Rovers he will not be re-signing for them as he has an offer from a Scottish Premier League club. (Daily Express) Hmm Quote
Stu Posted July 16, 2009 Report Posted July 16, 2009 Hmm I did wonder if that was us when I read it earlier Quote
billyg Posted July 17, 2009 Report Posted July 17, 2009 I see Mark Gilhaney has been released by Dundee and will play as a trialist against us tomorrow for Ayr. Still youngish , can play left and can score goals, although he's pretty small. Surely a better bet than the trialist we're playing at the moment? If he's not looking for much dough I would sign him for 12 months and see how he shapes up , he's not injury prone btw. Quote

Sometimes very good, but mostly a waste of time. Didn't Accies allow him to leave and then brought in Corcoran to replace him? Quote

Didn't Accies allow him to leave and then brought in Corcoran to replace him? He's a far better player than Corcoran. Andy Millen played alongside Gilhaney for Clyde and will know if he's got it to step up a level but if we're looking for cheap options for the wide areas he could be a possibility. Anyway , if he plays against us tomorrow and does ok maybe we'll make a move for him ! Quote
