Lex Posted December 8, 2012 Report Posted December 8, 2012 He is 22 and has 1 senior appearance to his name? Hmm, i imagine it is quite a jump from college soccer in the USA to the SPL but we shall see... Quote
Super_Saints Posted December 8, 2012 Report Posted December 8, 2012 Scores second goal in this game Quote
colombano4saints Posted December 8, 2012 Report Posted December 8, 2012 That's a cracking piece of skill from him around 1:05. Quote

Hmm, i imagine it is quite a jump from college soccer in the USA to the SPL but we shall see... Somehow I don't see him struggle to adapt with the SPL where it's hardly bursting at the seems with quality, Andy Dorman being the perfect example. Andy Dorman proved to be a key signing for us and was easily the best in his position at making those late runs into the box. This boy Dwyer is a low risk loan signing so we have nothing much to lose and everything to gain if proves to be a real surprise package like Dorman. Edited December 8, 2012 by class of 76-77 Quote

Aye, and the Good Ol' USA gave our national team a recent humping. We'll have to wait and see but I don't have any particular worries about him coming from American football - better than coming from Cowdenbeath (with exceptions of course ) Quote

Andy had played over 100 games for New England Revs senior side before he came to us. This guy has never played at that level, he's been playing college soccer. Low risk indeed, but as has already been said, there are other areas of the team which need looking at before a winger/forward. Quote

I do agree a couple of defenders do need to come in but you have to look at any player who could enhance your chances of scoring Quote
Jeremiah Cole Posted December 8, 2012 Report Posted December 8, 2012 So we could soon have a team lining up with McGinn, McGinn and McGinn? Are any of them related to a former Celtic chairman? Quote
Drew Posted December 8, 2012 Report Posted December 8, 2012 Are any of them related to a former Celtic chairman? Wouldn't have thought so, and only you could dream up something as typically implausible as this. Quote
Gosport Buddie Posted December 8, 2012 Report Posted December 8, 2012 Are any of them related to a former Celtic chairman? I'm pretty sure that former Celtic chairman Jack McGinn is their grandad Quote
exiledfan Posted December 8, 2012 Report Posted December 8, 2012 After today it's clear that a bit of quality like he seems might help us. Quote
The Stickroth Fanclub Posted December 8, 2012 Report Posted December 8, 2012 Looks technically sound, has the physique, pace. Why not? The festive period is crazy so no harm in bringing in some back-up. Quote
Sunny Saint Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 Was at the game today; Him and Thommo up front. Oaft. Quote
irvine_buddie Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 A short term loan isn't going to cost much so it's worth a try. Hopefully he can be the missing link to help us on a run to the top 6! Quote
