Stu
Took that post seriously till I seen McCoist's name actually.. You should have kept reading - after suggesting McCoist it talked about how we need a great manager.

norrie82
Jimmy calderwood? Organisation and proven ability getting dunfermline up from.this league and keeping teams up. Let's not go.down the appoint a rookie and hope route. Let's get a gaffer who will rip it up and start again not just be a yes man
ulysses
I think Butcher would relish the chance. His stock is low after his Hibs disaster but done well with Inverness, a small club, and took them up and kept them there. At least we would have a decent defence under him. His record isn't great however. Maybe Inverness was just the perfect fit for him. Edited April 10, 2015 by ulysses
GlenburnSaint
Paul Sturrock? Meiksy Yeovil are just about to be relegated for 2nd year on the trot. Hiring sturrock with that on the CV would put the fear into me. Plus his wages will still be better un Eng League 2
GlenburnSaint
We would be very lucky to get them but my choices would be either Terry Butcher, Gus McPherson or Malky MacKay
Hendo
Seriously this thread is depressing. The majority of names mentioned have failed spectacularly at other clubs. We have someone who will go far in management already on our books. Ex rangers centre forward just ending his playing career, deja vu anyone?

I'd say he could do well with another crop of players in the future but not this group of pals. Edited April 12, 2015 by davidg

Give him a 6 month apprenticeship at East Stirling, then we can think about it.. And can you please stop reminding us that he once'd played for that mob, but in fairness we've all done some stupid things in our life's....

Drew
For me it's ether Teale or Thommo maybe both would be good, in fact both would be good Genuine question, what makes you think this? Apart from the fact that both have far too much baggage at the club, they have no pedigree, whatsoever. Clean slate means a clean slate.

Despite the fact I think Gary was handed a dead duck we must go and start afresh as Drew suggests. Thommo ....no. We need a Manager and not another Apprentice, simple as that. If the BOD do not get this right then we are well and truly F****d and that would and could be the end of us.
