Callum Gilhooley
Wouldn't it be a really good gesture if , in light of this years fiasco ,JD allowed the club shop to stock & sell this xmas strip .
norrie82
Who cares it's too late. It's September and only.two years ago our kit went on sale in may before season had ended. Its a joke that it's taken so long. If money wasn't an issue get rid of jd and find a supplier who can supply
antrin
Despite the fact that the strip service for Buddies has been appalling, it could be worse - you could be a sevco eedjit. Their "owners"advise "Ra Peepul" NOT buy strips from those providers, with whom they have a shit deal. theclumpany still has to pay for all unsold strips . this is mental, but they ARE RA Peepul. i don't ever buy a strip. My equilibrium is not messed with. Edited August 27, 2016 by antrin
munoz
I blame the white strips for our current form .
Dibbles old paperboy
The word on Facebook is there is a new delay. JD Sports salesperson saying in store that they have had an email saying the strips have not arrived in the warehouse yet and could be another 2-3 weeks before they arrive in stores or get sent out in the post! Deekthebuddie
It's all about supply and demand. It's been obvious that for years, we haven't been of enough importance to supply us with replica kits on time- they see our demand as not great enough to really interest them, so they don't give a shit about having strips available to supply. There must be a clause for terminating the contract with JD in light of this latest farce with kits. We should arrange a new supplier and have kits supplied by someone like Proven Sports

civilsaint
And still no official comment provided by SMFC officials. It is extraordinary that JD are actually coming across more competent than our club. As I said least week, it is not possible to believe that none of our officials read this forum. civilsaint
That came from the St mirren facebook. And is presented as a statement from "JD Sports". The club remain unapologetic. The club appear to EXPECT fans to support, rather than working for that support.

shull
YOU ARE HERE: HOME / NEWS / COMMERCIAL NEWS / NEW HOME KIT RELEASE – JD STATEMENT New Home Kit Release – JD Statement AUGUST 31, 2016 BY ADMIN A statement from JD on the release of the new home kit. Due to a number of circumstances during transportation beyond our control we are yet to receive the delivery of retail stock, causing a delay in the launch of the St Mirren kits. We have been in constant communication with the supplier in a bid to resolve the situation and are confirming delivery over the coming days in order to launch on Thursday 8th September. JD understand the frustration this delay has caused the fans and the club, as a gesture of goodwill JD will be funding a £10 reduction on all adult and junior shirts. JD will also be hosting a launch event at the Paisley store on Thursday 8th September 5-6pm where fans will be able to meet first team players to get autographs and photos in the new kit. I`ll have a fiver on the logo coming off after three washes . or maybe a couple of quid on the stitching coming apart !
