pozbaird
Chelsea fans to blame IMHO. Either that or a tiny minority of Celtic fans bringing shame to their two million well behaved supporters.

RickMcD
I don't want to be the first person ever to be pedantic on this forum but should the heading not be 'Damage to the wa' roon St.Mirren's fitba park'. I thought somebody had dug up the centre circle as a political protest. Possibly Scot Nats cos they're always greetin'. We really need a decent name for the ground. Nothing will ever come close to Love Street in our affections but when the new owners from Argentina, Outer Mongolia or in my dreams Paisley take over, can we do something about the name. The present name, or lack of it, is as cheerless as the stadium.

FS
Apparently the lamp post suffered a groin strain and will be out of action for the remainder of the season.

pozbaird
The destroyed lampost is being replaced by a bedside lamp on a six month loan from Ikea Braehead. Typical St Mirren. Cheap, lazy option.
Frank McGarvey' wonky legs
Given our 'careful' approach to spending, maybe "Poundland Park"?Sorry Mr Gilmour saw this and said he can get a better deal from the 99p stores

bluto
Maybe this is the spark we needed to kick start our season I agree. I've said all along that all Saints need is a wee rub of the lamppost.
