I've just stuck money on 5-4, hope Callum wears his lucky scarf.

:)

Almost! A most enjoyable game for the lad. We almost threw it away time after time but finally came out on top. More of the same at St Mirren Park every fortnight without the silly defending would be good.

What was the crowd today?

Superb performance, reading the online reports, comments from those who were there, a great result.

That's us played 2 decent teams in the last 3 games and taken 4 points from 6. While Hearts are weak THAT was a crunch game and we won it comfortably.

Still a way to go after the poor start but amazing what a few wins does for the moral of the players.

As a few have mentioned, we would have crumbled a month or so ago after St Johnstone coming back.

Superb, that's all.

Thats the thing Shrek, last season Ross County had a very poor start and look where they ended up

we have had 6 weeks of turmoil and now 3 weeks of utter joy

we can do united at Tannadiche next week

faaaaaaaaaantastic.

was having a wee practise at darts in my sports room....just getting the radio on and tuned in and the commentator said Thommo had scored to make it.....4-2 I thought...but, FFS it was 4-3....missed the 3rd equaliser....just as well I didn't know about it

Great result.

Out running with my stripes now.

I was texting you the score. You'll probably get the texts on Weds!!!

Watch the highlights. St.J are a far better team than Hearts.

May, and to certain extent McLean, ran riot with Inversnecks defence. Wee Nigel seemed pretty lively too.

Although we won yesterday, from the highlights, there were several occasions where our marking and tracking back needed to be tighter and poor finishing cost Hearts dearly.

If May is given the same opportunities we provided yesterday, it could see our mini revival cut off at the pass.

Without a doubt, our defence will have their work cut out.

We also missed a shed load of chances, so we'll need to be much more clinical in front of goal. With better finishing, McGowan and The Thommohawk could have added another four to our total yesterday. We need to work opposition 'keepers rather than missing the target.

Hopefully, the squad will work hard in training to minimise our deficiencies.

Well, Wee Nigel was lively today also. Set up their first and scored the second. He wasn't on the winning team though!clap.gif

Still a tad shaky in defence, but still tighter than 4 games ago. Don't think May had too many clear cut chances.

Special mention to the midfield who both created with great craft and destroyed with vigour.

Good to see Gowser and Thommohawk coming up with the goods.thumbup2.gif

Ok ,where to start? Logical place....

Keeper : this young man continues to impress, youll have to keep the shouting down ph34r.png , you woke up the saintees fans.

Kelly: what a talent, Danny who ?

M & M centre backs; good pairing , a far more dominant Mair & Daz showing some silky skills, (maybe check your studs though !!)

Vanzy : Still think he gets an unfair rap from some sections Steady game today, only criticism..... you should have broke his f**kin leg !

Midfield : step forward & take a bow. Captain , superb today & never a booking,KM, thats more like it ,thumbup2.gif : John mcg..... thats what your missing out on Stark !!

Connor.... where have you been all season. clap2.gif Paul Mcgowan , simply notworthy.gif

& Thommo, nice to see a spring in your step & a smile on your moaning faced coupon !!tongue.png

Subs: With the refereeing today ,sending offs were a distinct possibility, good calls. (even at 95 mins)

Thoroughly enjoyed that today. Excitement, elation, pride, passion, despair. This game had everything. Makes the 180 round trip to the game well worth the effort. Great effort lads. More of the same please. Still smiling

Did you get on the wrong bus in Glenburn.whistling.giflaugh.png

Hear, hear! Well said Isabella! You say it how you see it! wink.png

Not to mention the fact that the happy clappers, instead of enjoying winning results, use wins to have a go at their fellow supporters! rolleyes.gif

Any chance you and Duke could get a room and give us fecking peace to enjoy today's win.

According to Duke it's the first non-OF, low fat, high fat, protein free, gluten free, wheat free, lactose tolerant, peanut friendly win since the second world war so it's a big day.

The last couple of days the pair of you have been like star struck lovers liking each others posts, applauding each other, bigging each other up and generally talking 9 shades of shite.

Great win today. Really enjoyable, though nerve-wracking game.

I thought the winning goal was superb. A goal we wouldnt have scored even three weeks ago.

If you think we had problems recently spare a thought for the Dundee Utd. supporters watching Sky Sports news and seeing this!

Even we dont lose that many games that quickly!whistling.gif

Good spot !

Though some moaning face people treat our defeats twice as bad as they are :P so we know the feeling.
