DougJamie
Why doesn't Tony just tell potential suitors, or indeed the Press That as long as we finish above Livi and Accies we will be delighted. Hey Accies lost 23 games last year, so the target is only 22 losses Imagine our BOD having ambition- Hell Mend Them !!!! FFS

Guest TPAFKATS
Does anyone get the feeling that supporters of other teams are pissing themselves laughing at us ? Aye, I'm sure having a handful of champions league winners in the frame, (including guys coaching at some of the biggest clubs in Europe) to manage a diddy club in Scotland would have other diddy club supporters laughing.Morton fans in particular will be pissing themselves as they look to their new boss. United will be much happier to still have Laszlo.Thistle will be happy to have stood by Alan Archibald and Aberdeen fans will be delighted that McInnes is staying put. Callum Gilhooley
Would be good to see the club grab “ a name” to raise our profile , would also be good if he could actually manage as well though [emoji849]

Drew
I didn't know that Kluivert applied for the Ross County job in 2014, only to be pipped for it by Jim McIntyre. Surely lightning won't strike twice....
Paisleyporridge
Maybe, just maybe, St Mirren are a sexier proposition than we realize. Great training facility, smart little stadium, but if history, adjacent to Glasgow airport, good board and on the rise with the core of a squad left by Scotland’s manager of the year. There are examples of clubs/ countries punching above their weight eg Iceland, Bournemouth, the Scandinavian team managed by that Englishman... What have the young aspiring princes of the managerial world got to lose? Come to Paisley for a year, work their contact book, cut their teeth as a gaffer. These guys don’t need the money. If they succeed they become heroes and go straight back where they belong; if they don’t..... well, they can say it was only St Mirren and they got the experience they wanted. div
Micky Mellon is an interesting one, purely because he'd come with superb knowledge of the lowest tiers of the English game, and thus the potential for unearthing some diamonds would be higher than pretty much any other candidate. This of course is the model that Motherwell have completely built themselves on in recent years and it's paid off pretty well, with decent finishes in the league, decent money through transfers and last season 2 cup finals to boot. There's an argument that says it would be a potentially safe route to follow and Mellon has done pretty well in his career managing in those lower leagues. I watched his Shrewsbury team a few times and they were a good side, if perhaps not exactly free flowing. That all said, I'm never really one for playing it safe. Let's roll the dice and get Guti or Kluivert in and have a go. We might do extremely well, we might bomb. It will be fun and exciting anyway, who doesn't want that!
