TopCat
All the best to the cup winning legend. Was always going to be leaving after he never got the job. http://www.saintmirren.net/pages/?p=43805
HSS
Nice to see the League Cup Final is the highlight of his career. Thank you Gary.
billyg
Good news . Complete clearout required to give Murray a chance to rebuild. Hopefully Goodwin next. Thommo's the only old head I would entertain.
dakota7
Best decision all round. Murray needs a clean slate to work with and Teale needs to get a gig away from the club.
JJ McG
Correct decision.
Lord Pityme
No real surprise, thanks for the memories GT please don't come back with a new club to 'tear us apart... Again'

Magic Monkey
17th March 2013 was one of the greatest days of my adult life, and Gary Teale played a major part in that. I'll always be grateful. I really hope he goes on to find coaching success somewhere.
stlucifer
Good luck Gary. I will allways remember the time when, Thompson flicked on, with you in full flight. You waltzed past defenders, down on the right. A quick look around, and you saw it so plain. You passed it to Isma, who then scored again. THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES. El Gingero
Good Luck Gary. Hammering the ball against Mulgrew's hand in the semi final against Septic was pure class.

dblue
Best of luck Gary. I hope you get a gig in the lower leagues and learn your trade as a manager. You will always be remembered as a St Mirren cup winner and there's not a lot that can say that.
Stu
Good Luck Gary. Hammering the ball against Mulgrew's hand in the semi final against Septic was pure class. Ha, I'd forgotten about that. Blootered the ball at Mulgrew's face and he brought his arm up to block it, effectively cradling it around. Even Collum couldn't miss that one. I'd like to think Saints fans won't remember Gary for his time in charge and it won't be for any goals - it will be for one assist. The Pass. https://t.co/xi60eizgHo All the best Gary. Drew
The correct decision. I wish Gary all the very best in his future career. I won't forget the interview with him after the cup semi win against Celtic. He was crying, such was the emotion, and that, and the final victory will be his legacy, not his final months at the club. pod
For your own sanity, probably the best decision. Good lucky Gary.
Dalrybud
Can understand the decision from GT's point of view but I think its a missed opportunity for all parties. I could have seen him working alongside the new manager. Would've given him that bit more experience before taking the step into management again. Shame really. Nigel Hasselhoff
Goes as a club legend. He should have won POTY in the cup winning season IMO.

nedflanders123
No real surprise, thanks for the memories GT please don't come back with a new club to 'tear us apart... Again' If he gets a managers job it will likely be at a lower level. The only other thing is him getting a coaching role or assistant role at a similar sized club. I wish him all the best.
