St. Sid
Hearing from a kind of reliable source that Bristol City have made a big for McLean Anything over £100K and we should take it.
Magic Monkey
Anything over £100K and we should take it. The fecking inferiority complex that seems to be pervading Scottish football at the minute means we'll probably negotiate the price down
Nigel Hasselhoff
Anything over £100K and we should take it. Will be much more than that if what i'm told is true. Hopefully the SPL can keep some sponsors and if we cash in on Kenny we will be ok.

Griff
A similar deal for Fyvie would suit us
Griff
A similar deal for Fyvie would suit us What I meant was if we could move McLean on for a similar deal as to what Aberdeen got for Fyvie , we would be doing well

Lethal89
I think if we confirm that grant Adam is joining the club then we can reasonably assume Kenny is on his way south

bluto
Short of a good left-back who could do a good job for The Buddies? Look no further than Kirk Broadfoot, currently V. Unsettled as he has no team to play for and the best but distant hope on his horizon would be playing in Div 3. Would his Scotland career not be better served by playing in the SPL at GHR? One thing's certain: he'll be moving on... Edited July 18, 2012 by bluto
Gosport Buddie
Could do lot worse than go to Bristol City with McInnes as manager, but should be for a deal at least the same as Fyvie. Would be sorry to see him go but if it staves off threat of administration/ allows back-up goalie to be signed , so be it.
Sunny Saint
I would be far more concerned if we lost McGowan than if we lost McLean. McLean is a good player who will only get better and I'd be hoping for a few hundred thousand for him at least, but his form was patchy last season and he's the kind of player who drifts in and out of games. Should anyone come in with a decent offer for him this summer, we should take it given the current situation.
nedflanders123
I think if we confirm that grant Adam is joining the club then we can reasonably assume Kenny is on his way south Why? Adams is a goalkeeper which we need to fill and McLean is a midfielder. How do you deduce that Kenny is going down south?

Lethal89
Why? Adams is a goalkeeper which we need to fill and McLean is a midfielder. How do you deduce that Kenny is going down south? Because we have no money for signings so I can only assume we are receiving a transfer fee for someone to counter the lost revenue that's been forecast. McLean is the only one where we keep all of the fee. Only IMHO
Nigel Hasselhoff
We can sign a goalkeeper even though Sevco are in division3. SG stated this at SMP a few weeks ago.

Griff
Purely speculation ,but would be good if it happened , how does Teale to Newco sound? Lee McCulloch and Gary Teale are ex team mates from Wigan Lee McCulloch in with the bricks at Ibrox Saints need to reduce their wage bill Newco have a transfer embargo , but can sign free agents Newco don,t need superstars on big wages to get out of Division 3 , a combination of experienced players on modest wages and youngsters will do the job. Could something like this happen

Murray7
Teale story seems to have something to it, talking about it on the huncnut board http://forum.rangersmedia.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=232055&pid=1060238219&st=0entry1060238219
