Big_Mougie Posted July 13, 2017 Report Posted July 13, 2017 https://www.stmirren.com/news/club/club-news/985-new-signing-ian-mcshane Must admit I don't know much about him. Welcome to the club Quote
JJ McG Posted July 13, 2017 Report Posted July 13, 2017 Brilliant signing by the club, superb business. Quote
stlucifer Posted July 13, 2017 Report Posted July 13, 2017 See what happens when you sell the jerseys in a match. You get recompensed! Welcome aboard Ian. Quote
Isle Of Bute Saint Posted July 13, 2017 Report Posted July 13, 2017 Welcome Ian to a bright new future. Quote
Isle Of Bute Saint Posted July 13, 2017 Report Posted July 13, 2017 Take it Ian played with Ross County in the first half and St Mirren in the second half Quote
JM1 Posted July 13, 2017 Report Posted July 13, 2017 Bringing in Ian McShane now we've got rid of some of the Deadwood. Quote
munoz Posted July 13, 2017 Report Posted July 13, 2017 Looks a decent signing . Welcome aboard . Quote
Julian Banjos Posted July 13, 2017 Report Posted July 13, 2017 McGinn, Magennis, Quinn, Kirkpatrick, McShane are our central midfielders then. I reckon McShane will be straight into the starting 11 beside McGinn. Morgan on the left. Who's on the right? Quote

pozbaird Posted July 13, 2017 Report Posted July 13, 2017 Welcome to St Mirren. We're a decent bunch really. Been a grind watching us at times recently, and we were utterly shite at home, so we got a bit grumpy. We're all bright eyed and bushy tailed now, with feelgood factor coursing through our veins.....* * So don't fcuk it up. Quote

Frank McGarvey' wonky legs Posted July 13, 2017 Report Posted July 13, 2017 Decent from a dead ball as well. Welcome to the club. Quote
Chris Posted July 13, 2017 Report Posted July 13, 2017 Is he any good? I have never heard of him. Quote
elvis Posted July 13, 2017 Report Posted July 13, 2017 Played 39 times for County so can't be that bad. Quote
Hendo Posted July 13, 2017 Report Posted July 13, 2017 He's decent, central midfielder with a good shot on him. Lots of mid table championship sides like queens and Dunfermline were also in for him. Quote
saintstroller Posted July 13, 2017 Report Posted July 13, 2017 I think this is a great signing. Definitely a good player that could maybe replace the loss of Mallan. Very good technically and good with a dead ball. I felt that when he left QotS we had missed out on him by going to County obviously at the time County on up and us on the down. Think he will walk straight into the midfield Quote
Hambud Posted July 13, 2017 Report Posted July 13, 2017 Bringing in Ian McShane now we've got rid of some of the Deadwood. Who'd we get rid of? Quote
Hambud Posted July 13, 2017 Report Posted July 13, 2017 If it's any consolation, I got it. OK I got whooshed....well played. Quote
rabuddies Posted July 13, 2017 Report Posted July 13, 2017 His dad played for Man U don't you know. Quote
FTOF Posted July 13, 2017 Report Posted July 13, 2017 In the few games I've seen McShane, usually against the green bigots on Sky?BT, he's looked like a good impact player. Let's hope he stays fit and realises the potential at our club. Quote

Stevie88 Posted July 13, 2017 Report Posted July 13, 2017 Good signing. Hopefully he can recapture his form he showed at QoS. Got to imagine Rocco Quinn will be shown the door, don't really see a place for him.Getting another striker in is surely the priority now. Quote
