Don't know too much about the boy but could Jamieson play the McGrath role?

From what I have heard and read about previous performances he is more of a Forward. The boy Henderson played in what appeared to be a more advanced midfield role in the bounce games before the season kicked off. I unfortunately don’t know if others can comment on their best positions or if they could step up and contribute in the remainder of the games? I suppose Jim will need to use everybody at his disposable or some players might burn out!

Long term injuries to Brophy and Dennis leaves us with a fairly light squad and the injury to Jamie makes matters worse Jim may have to look at out of contract players one possible signing could be Ravel Morrison box to box midfielder played for a number of English sides and just of contract with a Dutch club only 28

Have we found out the extent of the injury yet? Sorry in advance if it's been posted elsewhere. With JDH on crutches it's getting a bit concerning

JG saying McGrath results came back showing bruising on the bone and damaged ligaments after dislocating his shoulder against Celtic.

Club to speak to a specialist to see if they can delay surgery and strap it up to hopefully have Jamie back in weeks to come.

Still can't believe that challenge resulted in a dislocated shoulder let alone bone bruising and ligament damage.

The whole thing looked like the players just brushed together.

His shoulder got initially injured in a very late challenge by Welsh going for a header. Welsh went through the back of Jamie, leading with his shoulder, well after the ball was gone. Jamie pulled up just after that, again grappling with Welsh, but the damage was obviously from the earlier challenge. Poor challenge by Welsh and looked premeditated.

Puts a whole new perspective on the injury. Some of the challenges Celtic got away with (McGregor & Brown and this) without caution is an embarrassment... then to concede that pen?

Watching the ref at the rugby explain every decision was great yesterday. Wish we held our refs accountable.

listened to JG on the radio and his press conference and I have to say, I agree, the ref system in the Scottish game is way below par. I’m not saying they are cheats. Just very shite!

I'm quite sure I remembered a challenge in the Killie game where he landed heavily and was favouring his shoulder a bit. It might be a case that he was touch and go before the match.

That's absolutely reckless, particularly when you don't see it coming. He looked if he had jarred his neck in the process.

A bit reckless even thinking about strapping it up if it requires surgery. He will be conscious of it popping out and that is bound to affect how he plays. Shades of Bryan Robson back in the 80s for our older members. Just get it fixed and get him back fully fit for next season.

Ah OK thanks. That would explain it.

Agree. Let the boy get properly fixed.

It's not worth the long term injury risk.

i recall speaking to a physio some years ago, in the context of Trigger's repeated shoulder injuries

he told me that apart from tenderness, most shoulder dislocations are as good as new once popped in.  It would require a bone or connective tissue injury as well for it to be troublesome for a long term

a scan should show up the full extent and if he is clear with anti-inflammatories then it really should be no worry.

The shetland account has apparently been banned too along with Blaw Up Betty.
The lugton account is still live I think and under Krankie he is chucking abuse at anyone he can think of. I'm still recovering from his attack on me when he called me "boring". My family are providing round-the-clock support.
He's ditched Betty. [emoji44]

You know that was a bloody good watch.

Here we have a manager talking up our player....what a wonderful thing.  Why would you not want to play for a manager like that?

Because manager is negative as feck?
