What cost relegation?

We can budget if and when we get relegated.

What you are proposing is called gambling.

Don't you lose enough money at the bookies to know how gambling usually turns out?

It's a mugs game.

Won't be Scott Allan. He hasn't played for a while due to health reasons.

There's a rumour on twitter than he's got a serious heart condition ( not that there's an unserious heart condition)

Stephen Kingsley for the left back role? Just read that he’s out of contract and currently training with Falkirk.

And clearly going sign for Hearts who are assembling a very good squad.

Transfer deadline day and it’s scarily quiet on here... think we will get anybody in? Anybody heard anything ? Not a chance can the board be content with the squad we have when we can’t even fill the bench🙈

Wouldn't touch Griffiths. The minute he leaves Celtic Park he is finished if not already

100% agree with you on the sentiment though.

Also who was the last good quality striker that we produced ourselves ??

Can't think of any since

Calm down Matt, the deadline is midnight tomorrow.  Loads of time to trawl the depth of those available.

Ross Stewart...  We had him from a early age and he was swiftly shown the door

He was decent for me in football manager. Had a few games on loan at the appropriately named Orange County in the good ol' U S of A.

Still think we need a left back as cover and a creative midfielder in the Stevie Mallan mould in.
Jim saying today he has funds available to bring in another two players he is now looking at players out of contract and is hopeful of adding to the squad soon.

Scrambling around the bargain basement for the players no one else wants.

If out of contract players are unwanted, then we don't want them either so none of those players will be signed by any team. What do you think the chance of that is?

Plenty of good players are currently free transfers.

Quick glance throws up such experience as Ikechi Anya, Cameron Jerome, Jackson Irvine, Andy King, Isma Goncalves, Nathan Dyer

Aye, on the other hand plenty of good players will already have been signed.

The other "problem" is we seem to be unable to attract any players that are decent.

Either we don't offer the cash or players don't fancy a relegation battle.

Let's see if any of the above come to us.

Agreed but then most of the above aren't in much different a bracket from Jackson, Hammill and Ferdinand from a few years ago. All massively experienced players that we were surprised at landing given they'd surely attract higher wages.
