Jack Ross is going to go very far in football management. He is rapidly building up a very solid reputation as a very good manager and it won't be long before he gets touted for some top jobs in Scotland and England.

Our big test as a club in the coming 6 months or so could be about holding onto Jack.

Exciting times for everyone connected with the club. If Jack is doing well then it means St Mirren are doing well and that makes us all happy buddies.

Get the feeling Jack will get an offer thats too good to knock back , really hope it wont happen but need to be realistic. Good thing is that we can trust the Board to make a good appointment if he does move on.

Get the feeling that 'some people' have to look for the negatives in anything that seems too good to be true, the sort that poke a tooth when it might have a twinge, poke it hard enough 'just to make sure it really hurts'

If "some people" have tooth trouble they should go to the dentist.

JR playing mind games with Livi. They've spent the best part of the week not knowing who they'd face in the away dugout.

A bloody masterstroke from Jack. Fooled nearly everybody.

Jack Ross is pure magic
He wears a magic hat
He could have went to Barnsley
But he said no f**k that
He could have went to Dundee
But said that they were shite
And when we win the championship
We'll sing this song all night....

Jack Ross the Hero

By My Grandson(aged 9)

 Jack Ross came here,

To have a little argument I thought.

But soon after that,

The grip on Ayr United was caught.

We finished in seventh,

And stronger than ever.

And as the season came to a close,

Everyone thought he was clever.

He got to the top,

And we were excited.

But Dundee United hot on our heels,

Was everything needed for a league to be lighted.

He nearly moved down South,

To where The Colliers were playing.

But stayed up North,

So there he sits laying.

He will always be a Buddie,

From playing days to managing young.

And within the Black and White Army,

The name Jack Ross will always be sung.

Someone in main stand meant to have has a go at jack Ross shouting you need to take this seriously jack.

Hope someone was at hand to give the idiot a right good slap

Jack Ross turned and glared at the guy and he shat himself and didn’t say any other word all day.

Typical loudmouth

On that, seems like Hippolyte will be a favourite for the boo boys. Guy behind me was slagging him after about 40 seconds of him coming on. Also as soon as the final whistle went he stood up in a rage shouting where is John Sutton.....fud

I`d rather have Sutton on the bench than Mullen or Hill. We have enough defenders or midfielders to move about if required and i think the big man gives a different option up front.
