FTOF
Thought I'd start a new topic for a new player. Hope you do well at the club and make No.1 your own.
WeeBud
Welcome Zach and good luck between the sticks in your time at St Mirren, there's a decent squad around the place and a great coach in JL. Edited June 28 by WeeBud

What I thought was telling from the game on Saturday was how well we defended our box, almost every attempt from Motherwell was from outside the penalty area.
exiledfan
I hope we can keep him for a few seasons. Win win both us and Zach. We get stability between the sticks and Zach gets first team football and development from Langfield who seems an outstanding coach.

But what an amazing, match-saving save to pull off!!!

The Original 59er
I have a slightly different take on the subject. Re Carson I thought he was an inch or two too small and thus struggled a wee bit on crossed balls. Re Hemming, I think he has good reactions, but is nervous on committing to crossed balls in a slightly crowded box. I will reserve judgement up to Christmas who I prefer.

All entitled to our opinions 59er but I thought, on Saturday at least, he commanded his box really well and committed to and came for every cross ball.
Swiss_Saint
I also thought on Saturday his taking of crosses was really good. Warming to the lad nicely and think he could well be another in a long line of good keepers we have been blessed with.
