Lord Pityme
I couldn't help but notice that when they were highlighting the countries he's played in with a red colour, when David Currie's voice said "Paisley" it was in fact England that was highlighted in red. Is this more political bias from the BBC against the Yes Campaign? I bet ye Dave told the Beeb tae dae that from the safety of his Westminster lair! Ah, sign 'o the times (sic) - I still associate that song with Tommy James & The Shondells. Bit of trivia - the band also recorded the original version of I Think We're Alone Now. Cover versions of these songs by Tiffany & the aforementioned Billy Idol were consecutive No. 1's in the US Charts in 1987! Maybe Eric likes the Bruce Springsteen song Johnny 99. billyg
first St Eric since Sinclair! We've not had many. Eric Murray in the great 60s promotion team , that went over 12 months unbeaten in the league, Eric Sinclair who did the business for Dundee but not for us , and Eric McQueen in the late 80s, who played a few first team games and then left for Stranraer before he turned up playing for one of my teams only 3 years after playing for the Buds ! Froggie
A player who had undoubted ability but was pitched in unfit and slow, in the hope that he could do something. Well there you go, that's football Lennon style. Fingers crossed and hope against hope for a lucky break.
