div 13,514 Report post Posted April 24, 2019 Voting for the Tam McGarry Young Player of the Year 2018-2019 and the B&W Army Player of the Year 2018 is now open. For the Tam McGarry award players must have been 21 or under when the season began, have made 5 first team appearances and still be at the club! The B&W Army award is open to all players, again who have made 5 or more first team appearances and who are still with us. So no Jeff King I'm afraid. Polls close 7pm Friday May 3rd and awards will be presented at the Cockles Wilson POTY night in the Bankhouse on Sat 18th May, follow them on twitter for ticket details, sure to sell out very quickly. Kemp 5,553 Report post Posted April 24, 2019 Thanks for organising again Div, nice to have a vote! I consider the season to have started in January and have gone for big Popescu! Time to find the cash to buy him!

StanleySaint 1,378 Report post Posted April 24, 2019 I had said Popescu on another thread and Bairdy is a great shout but having given it more thought for versatility and the odd important goal i've gone for P. McGinn

gstretchuk 727 Report post Posted April 26, 2019 Erahon is young and has been thrown in at deep end but most of his appearances he has been average at best. Cannot give him award just because he is young...

insaintee 4,931 Report post Posted April 26, 2019 Paul McGinn and Magennis Baird and Hladky also strong contenders. Think I'll have to sing the Bairdy song all day to make up for not voting for him. To think there were some on here that wanted Jack punted.
portmahomack saint 1,631 Report post Posted April 30, 2019 Really tough call could easily have picked Paul McGinn or since January Popescu or our goalkeeper Hladky who has been outstanding,,, but my vote goes to a player who a lot thought would be leaving in the window including myself...... take a bow Sir Ryan Flynn Young player has to be Ethan still only 17

No huge surprise - not only one of the two best contributors for the entire season, has been playing his best stuff since March . . . and he gets his brothers vote guaranteed One of the 1st names on the team sheets every week !

The site gave a prize out last year for Goal of the Season (Cammy vs Dunfermline), but I'm kind of loathe to give out stuff to players who are no longer with us. We might well have been relegated already without Hammill's goals though, so I'll give it some thought!
