Despite being terrible last 2 weeks we have one last chance next week, quite a reasonable possibility that by end of next weekend league table could be - Hearts 48Hibs 47St Mirren 47. We will have to recruit to improve. Despite our elevated position in the league at present, we will face a battle against relegation next season as a result of the lack of a cutting edge up front and an inability to create chances from midfield. - not to mention a tendency to leak goals when we sit back and 'keep our shape'. guinness Posted May 6, 2023 Report Share Posted May 6, 2023 First half was awful. Dunne, Fraser and Tanser are very poor. Gallagher did not look fit so unsure why he started before Shaughnesy. Second half we were better but lack a centre forward. Next season will be very similar to this year. The difference between the Clubs will be down to who can find a goalscorer for little money. Somebody has already suggested that we strengthen close season so we’re ready for top 6 and Europe next season. I’d go with that option.
