scottd Posted September 5, 2015 Report Posted September 5, 2015 We're not allowed to think of winning this. We are abysmal at the mo. Quote
scottd Posted September 5, 2015 Report Posted September 5, 2015 (edited) 0-3 walkover for Falkirk. Elvis told me so, though some may think he'd be better staying in the ghetto. Edited September 5, 2015 by scottd Quote
lovestreet Posted September 5, 2015 Report Posted September 5, 2015 PU5's Team coming through sort these f**ks out Quote
simondsmfc Posted September 6, 2015 Report Posted September 6, 2015 (edited) 3 points a must. Time to start a winning run! Edited September 6, 2015 by simondsmfc Quote
stlucifer Posted September 6, 2015 Report Posted September 6, 2015 A good start will be very important to keep the momentum. We need to hem them in and make sure they don't get a foothold in midfield. That's the Achilles' heel. Too many times we've let ourselves down there. Goodie is a must but I would still like to see a "digger" in there. I'm going along with the optimists and predicting a victory. albeit a tight 2-1. Quote
ronaldo Posted September 6, 2015 Report Posted September 6, 2015 Home games against live, Alloa etc are the ones we will struggle most as they pack players behind the ball and we lack creativity, Falkirk will come and play more attacking which will help us no end, yesterday was a great win so let's build I it and move upwards Quote
FTOF Posted September 6, 2015 Report Posted September 6, 2015 Now that Murray seems to have found his best starting XI, let's hope he sticks with it and we start a run of consistently good performances. From what I've seen Falkirk are huffing and puffing a bit, but grinding out results in the process. Hopefully we can hit them hard early on and nock the stuffing out of them. Quote
Stu Posted September 6, 2015 Report Posted September 6, 2015 Would stick with the same team as yesterday, assuming everyone is fit. Be interesting to see if it is as effective at home. Quote
pod Posted September 6, 2015 Report Posted September 6, 2015 Would stick with the same team as yesterday, assuming everyone is fit. Be interesting to see if it is as effective at home. Plus the vocal backing that apparently the team got from our supporters yesterday(well done them), that is lacking at home. Quote
Kemp Posted September 6, 2015 Report Posted September 6, 2015 Falkirk are pretty poor but capable of getting men behind the ball and grinding out results. Anything other than 3 points here would be a poor result, hopefully we will have enough up front to get the result. Quote
Al Bundy Posted September 6, 2015 Report Posted September 6, 2015 Interested to see how many Falkirk bring given it's their first visit to the 'new' ground. Quote
Mid Calder Saint Posted September 6, 2015 Report Posted September 6, 2015 Pretty sure Falkirk have played at our new stadium.Seem to recall Higdon scoring a cracker against them. Quote
JJ McG Posted September 6, 2015 Report Posted September 6, 2015 Pretty sure Falkirk have played at our new stadium.Seem to recall Higdon scoring a cracker against them. Very true, I was sitting right behind that. Quote
pozbaird Posted September 6, 2015 Report Posted September 6, 2015 Mentioned this on another thread - we need to keep concentrating when their captain launches his Rory Delap-esque long throws towards our box. I mentioned this to Jim Goodwin at the Fan Council golf day. He said he wasn't aware of his long throw, but would be mindful of it.... Thanks to my Jose Mourinho style eagle-eyed input. So, if Vaulks catches us out with a bomb.... Dinnae' blame me. Blame Cheesy. Or blame Canada. Quote
nedflanders123 Posted September 6, 2015 Report Posted September 6, 2015 Anyone know why Falkirk did not play Hibs this weekend? Quote
sm74 Posted September 6, 2015 Report Posted September 6, 2015 Anyone know why Falkirk did not play Hibs this weekend? Hibs must have had 3 or more internationals, can think of McGinn and Cummings off hand. Quote
pod Posted September 6, 2015 Report Posted September 6, 2015 Interested to see how many Falkirk bring given it's their first visit to the 'new' ground. Eleven, plus three subs. Quote
stlucifer Posted September 6, 2015 Report Posted September 6, 2015 Eleven, plus three subs. Short of players for the bench? Quote

scottd Posted September 6, 2015 Report Posted September 6, 2015 Pretty sure Falkirk have played at our new stadium.Seem to recall Higdon scoring a cracker against them. They've played twice at Greenhill Road, both games drawn 2-2 and 1-1. Quote
Lord Pityme Posted September 6, 2015 Report Posted September 6, 2015 Plus the vocal backing that apparently the team got from our supporters yesterday(well done them), that is lacking at home. Shucks.... Gee... Thanks! Quote
