Lord Pityme
Rumour that elvis, Lord Pityme and Stuart are all going dressed up as Saints fans Since you are one of the above you would know best! shull
£28 and £14 concession for Hibs supporters this week, so well done to St Mirren for putting the Hibs board to shame The St Mirren Board were an absolute disgrace for their complete rip off pricing at last Sundays Match. Should all hang their heads in shame. Sooner most Clubs are part time, the better. Then we will get prices we deserve. Fiver

munoz
Let's hope the fans turn out in good numbers tomorrow . A short distance ( so no Inverness,Dingwall excuses ) and a mild day weather wise . If we are to start making a move towards the play off places , these are the games we must be winning . Saints win .
Stevie88
Unfortunately I won't make this one tomorrow, off to Ayr Races. At the time of arranging the racing day out, i wasn't bothered as we were honking! Since then our form has been slightly better and I'm a wee bit disappointed missing this one. I have fond memories of the Falkirk stadium, the main one being that 2-0 win, where Jack Ross probably had the game of his life!! Will be there in spirit tomorrow.... COYS!! Sonny
Wise words from Thommo ..... (from the Retard). Note that the statement in bold is me emphasising his point. Hope Mr Murray agrees. SAINTS skipper Steven Thompson says it’s do or die time for the team as they head to Falkirk Stadium on Saturday. The 37-year-old striker thinks that although there are positives from the loss to Rangers on Sunday, it’s still getting all three points that matters in the end. He said: “The longer we go without getting the results we need, the gap between where we are and third or fourth place widens. “It comes down to the fact that points matter and performances don’t. “The reality is that from a team perspective, the total of points we have right now isn’t good enough regardless of how well we played in some games. “We’re playing Hibs next week as well and so have a three-game spell playing some of the top teams in the league. “Realistically, we are two or three wins from the play-off positions. “I don’t want to be in situation where the gap for us to reach that point is unsurmountable. “Even if it’s just fourth place, we’re capable and must have an eye on the play-offs and realise we have to start picking up points and picking them up very quickly.” Thompson was one of the veteran players in the team that had to pick up the young guns after the 3-2 loss to Falkirk in September. But he reckons there’s no revenge factor for the side and that it’s of the same importance as any other game. He added: “It’s just another game in that sense, another chance to get three points. “That’s not the way my brain works and I just see Falkirk as one of the better teams in this league who are very experienced in the Championship. “In that game we lost to Falkirk, we were coming off the back of a really good win against Queen of the South. “We started off really competently and I don’t know if we took our foot off the gas when we went 2-0 up, but we started to drop off. “We tried too hard to protect our lead rather than attack and that isn’t a key strength of ours. “We’re better in attack and, in this division, we need to show more intent to beat teams and finish them off when we have the opportunity. “If we can replicate the quality and endeavour we showed against Rangers, we should feel confident of getting a result at Falkirk.”

Stuart Dickson
Why would the clubs being part time mean cheaper admission - are the 2nd division clubs all charging a fiver ? Queens Park v Clyde today, Hampden Park. The traditional Glasgow Derby. My son and I will have good seats in the South Stand. Total cost of admission for both of us and on site parking - £13. Shull is right. Part Time football, cheaper admission and a club with a strong community and family focus - that's the way forward for Scottish football.
