What utter sh*te you spout.

either you or some of the Christian haters posted a video of Stephen fry claiming he cannot believe in a God who gives cancer to children.

It was me. I'm not a Christian hater I just think they are moronic for believing in an omnipotent sky fairy.

It's all very well getting in decent defenders in but it's people to put the ball in the net  that will get us 3 points a game .

It's all built upon a solid defence. We'll get another striker in to compete with Obika but the defence was the main concern.

Marcus Fraser is a surprise. If he'd been a top target then I'd imagine we'd have signed him earlier (he left County at the start of June).

I'm wondering if we've drawn a blank in finding a suitable left back and, with the season about to start, Fraser is plan B.

Young striker on loan the last bit of business?

I think that's likely to be the case. Either way, I think with Tait performing well for Motherwell last season at LB we should be quite confident.

Fraser - McCarthy - Shaughnessy - Tait

I still think we could do with a bit of defensive cover. We only really have Baird or midfielders that can fill in there.

I’m not sure, I wonder if he was hoping to get a gig in England and couldn’t sort anything so has settled for a team in Scotland again.

I think he’s a decent player, if we t it over the line a defence of

Alnwick Tait Shaughnessy McCarthy Fraser

Seems as solid as we have had in the top flight recently

We've already got someone who scored as many goals as Lyndon Dykes did last season.

However, we could do with another striker with a similar scoring rate.

I'm hopeful that our midfielders will step up this season and contribute in the goalscoring. The likes of Durmas, McAllister etc are all more than capable of chipping in with goals when they are playing well.

Maybe obvious,  but the key to having a decent season can be goals coming from all positions.

A few ideas for a goal scorer....

Joe Gormley - Cliftonville

https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/joe-gormley/leistungsdaten/spieler/191258

153 goals in 254 games, 39 assists too

Joe-Gormley.jpg

Patrick Hoban - Dundalk (piss their fans off again) :D

https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/patrick-hoban/profil/spieler/158951

Their top scorer with 5 goals in 5 games so far this season, 14 in 34 last season

Patrick Hoban's late penalty earns Dundalk a priceless win

Seem like the kind of players Goodwin might scout

After suffering a serious knee injury, Gormley moved on loan to Scottish club St Johnstone in August 2016. After becoming "disillusioned" with professional football, Gormley cancelled his contracts with Peterborough and St Johnstone.

Think he's comfortable where he is.

Might want another crack at it, quite late in his career and is bang on form
