Cookie Monster
If that's the case, we've dodged a bullet. I mean a suicide one. Much rather he went outside Scotland as I think he'd have come back to haunt us. The guy did nothing to merit not being part of the team IMHO. Even though he's been sidelined he still plays with a smile on his face and for the team when called upon. It's called being a professional. A lesson others could well do in remembering. Cookie Monster
What about Main? Does a lot of hard graft but his job as a striker is to score goals, doest happen to often.... Thought it was worth repeating. [emoji16]

Out of all of them I would have to say that Ayunga is the most likely to turn it around. He has been a whisker away on many occasions. If hitting the framework was a sport, he'd be up there with the best. Greive initially looked the part and maybe he's still affected by his recent troubles. Balmullo Bud
I’m presuming that clubs know we won’t be due a development fee, like Ethan and more importantly we are skint is a factor. Hopefully just lazy journalism and if he does go it’s for decent amount. Getting linked with Norwich won’t do his profile any harm.
Cookie Monster
Played in world cup but do you think his performances at Saints justify a higher price tag? It justified him getting selected to play for his country at the World Cup. [emoji16]

If utd can ask for 4 million for a 16 year old we can ask for a couple of million for a player that's just played well at the world cup. shull
Get rid as quick as possible for whatever money or even cut our losses and free him. Baccus ain't fit to wear our jersey with all his cheating diving and pestering referees with imaginary cards to get fellow players booked or sent off. Dreadful Cheerio. djchapsticks
Think it's a shoddy bit of journalism. £350k has been plucked from thin air because we are looking at £350k for Erthan. There's no chance is Baccus being allowed to walk for anything like £350k and if he did, every single person working in the club at board level should be expected to resign immediately . Surely not There is no way we would entertain that with 18 months left on his contract. As far as I'm lead to believe we were looking for around 700k for McGrath 2 summers ago, before he eventually went the following January window with 6 months left on his contract for around half of that. I honestly can't see us entertaining any lower than £1m at this stage. With Lasley onboard alongside Robinson, would he have a better insight of how Motherwell held out for higher fees for their prized assets? The timing of the accounts released publicly will have clubs thinking they can buy on the cheap, though id like to think we can stand our ground even till the summer if there are not serious bids. Look at the likes of Dykes at Livy (tbf he's went on to do very well), Connor Sammon at Killie, Toni Andreu & Hendrie at Acciews(ffs) all in the past going for 7 figure sums. Baccus is an international (also played at a WC finals) and at a very good age with 18 months left on his contract. Edited January 16, 2023 by kevo_smfc . I agree he's putting in a shift but if he's not scoring, which he isn't, and he doesn't have a striking partner who's scoring, and we don't, then you see how fragile our position is.
