So, it was slightly unusual for me to start a match-day thread....  But even more unusual is that elvis didn't predict doom, death and destruction throughout the  thread and then the match.

I do hope you and yours are all ok, elvis!  :)

Are we safe from relegation?

Had a dream that we defeated Dundee United 5-1 at Tannadice and then followed that up with a 2-1 victory over Celtic at Parkhead.

Go back to sleep. Sweet dreams.

When I the line up I thought “Jim, WTF?” But he got it dead right. Tactics worked a treat, and every man on that team did what was asked of them. Special mention to Kyle McAllister Who really put in a shift against Soro,

After seeing the line up the only likely part of the above being right is St Mirren nil.

Going to be a whoop de doo 90 mins.

Whoop de doo indeed 🏁🏁🏁

You weren't the only one questioning the team selection earlier mate, plenty using hindsight right now.

Dennis was my MOM. Thought he was terrific today and covered all over the park.

Dennis now denying he is my MOM and saying it was a team effort. 😜

Spoiler

Thought before the match that the team selection looked like score the first goal then we will bring on the defensive subs. Then they scored and Jim must have thought right lets fecking have another go at that idea and then. SUBS, SUBS, GET THE FECKIN SUBS READY. Worked a treat.

Setting aside the insipid performance by Celtic throughout as you can only play the team in front of you, it was a joy to watch a St Mirren team set tactically to have a go and put pressure on the Old Firm on their own turf. Fantastic follow-up to Wednesday and full credit to team and Goodwin for attitude, commitment and two great goals
