FTOF Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 Where has it been said we have signed Mickael Antoine curier? The voices in Shull's head. Quote
billyg Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 Curier was supposed to be joining Livvy today , but Burchill apparently told some journalist that he had turned them down and was signing for us. Quote
class of 76-77 Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 If we have indeed signed big Mac then priority for Gary must be an experienced defender. The Austrian lad can fill a number of positions across the back four and someone like him would be ideal. Quote
Gordon Urquhart Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 This is where we are. Desperate signings of Ross County and Hamilton rejects to save our season. Depressing really. Having said that always thought Courier was a good player. Quote
Mykey Posted February 11, 2015 Report Posted February 11, 2015 bbc saying courier was to sign for livvi but an english side came in at the last min. no mention of us at all. Quote
billymehmet1 Posted February 12, 2015 Report Posted February 12, 2015 County sign abdoulaye meite. A centre half played fir bolton west brim and 48 Ivory Coast caps. Looks decent signing or another djemba djemba Quote
Drew Posted February 13, 2015 Report Posted February 13, 2015 County sign abdoulaye meite. All going well, he'll be absolutely shite. Quote
Hendo Posted February 13, 2015 Report Posted February 13, 2015 What is it with county? How many distinctly average footballers have they signed this season? GT is right to try and go for quality over quantity. Quote
Stevie88 Posted February 13, 2015 Report Posted February 13, 2015 What is it with county? How many distinctly average footballers have they signed this season? Saint Garf Posted February 13, 2015 Report Posted February 13, 2015 Agreed. You could tell their season wouldn't go well after they signed Joe Cardle. I thought he looked decent at first for Dunfermline, quite direct and skilful, but he never seemed to be able to produce it regularly. Similar to Graham who they had at the time. Quote

big bud Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 MAC will sign for Burton Albion today after acceptng deal from JFH Quote
Mid Calder Saint Posted February 18, 2015 Report Posted February 18, 2015 Things very quiet.Any rumours of free agents on trial? Quote
norrie82 Posted February 18, 2015 Report Posted February 18, 2015 If they were any good they wouldn't be free. I think Saturday will be a heavy defeat Quote
saintnextlifetime Posted February 18, 2015 Report Posted February 18, 2015 If they were any good they wouldn't be free. I think Saturday will be a heavy defeat I think you are right Norrie. . Aberdeen are likely to be way to confident given our recent results and of course our history of playing at Pittordrie , these factors will lead to their heavy defeat that you mention. . Quote
dakota7 Posted February 18, 2015 Report Posted February 18, 2015 Not to mention the inside information McLean will have fed back. Quote
stlucifer Posted February 19, 2015 Report Posted February 19, 2015 (edited) Not to mention the inside information McLean will have fed back. That should stand us in good stead then. McInnes. "So Kenny. What sort of tactics do you expect Saints to employ? Where's their threat? Who is liable to take responsibility in midfield? Where do yu think the goals will come from? McLean. "Well boss. They'll probably give the ball to,.... eh,.... was me. I think their threat is probably,.... eh,.... was me. In the midfield I think it will likely be, eh,.... hmmmmm,... let me see,..... was me. As for the goalscorer. Well their top scorer is,... erm,... hmmmm,.. let me see. It's on the tip of my tongue...... I'm trying top remember what the crowd shouted. Ahhhhh! king Kenny. Wait a minute. That was me. Their gaolie is called Mark I think!" "Hope that helped boss." Edited February 19, 2015 by stlucifer Quote

Like the 2-2 draw we got earlier? Will be tough but this is St Mirren and anything can happen. Aberdeen are a good side but how many doings have been mooted this season and not come to fruition? JJ McG Posted February 19, 2015 Report Posted February 19, 2015 A Norwegian midfielder and Bulgarian defender in trial. Quote
gazmc83 Posted February 19, 2015 Report Posted February 19, 2015 @AndyNewportPA: Saints also looking at former Norway midfielder Tomasz Sokolowski and Viktor Genev, a Bulgarian defender last playing in Kazakhstan Quote

TopCat Posted February 19, 2015 Report Posted February 19, 2015 Sokowlski is 29, has been capped by Norway and has played hundreds of games in their top flight. As free agents in mid February go, he doesn't seem that bad. Quote
